Acquaviva Picena

Appena all'interno della riviera troviamo Acquaviva Picena, uno dei borghi medievali più belli della provincia di Ascoli Piceno.

In due minuti di auto dalla casa, è possibile raggiungere il centro di Acquaviva Picena, affascinante paesino medioevale, che dispone di un fornito supermercato, farmacia, posta, banca, fruttivendolo, panettiere.

Acquaviva Picena è protagonista di svariate manifestazioni turistico-culturali: 
  • il mercatino (prodotti artigianali ed enogastronomici), che tutti i mercoledì di luglio ed agosto invade le antiche stradine in una atmosfera magica ed affascinante
  • svariate sagre a carattere culinario
  • possibilità di visitare il maestoso castello, fino a raggiungere la torre più alta, dalla quale è possibile vedere praticamente tutte le Marche, vista del mare compresa
  • imperdibile è, la prima settimana di agosto, "Sponsalia", rievocazione storica in costume medioevale dell'antico matrimonio tra nobili, che si svolge nel castello, con cibi e costumi dell'epoca ( www.paliodelduca.it ).
Vi sono vari ristoranti ed osterie.
Per ciò che riguarda il parcheggio, presso la casa vi è un ampio spiazzale in cui è possibile parcheggiare gratuitamente.

 

 

Just inside the coast we find Acquaviva Picena, one of the most beautiful medieval villages in the province of Ascoli Piceno - Marche.

In a two minutes drive from the house, you can reach the center of Acquaviva, charming medieval village, which has a well-stocked supermarket, pharmacy, post office, bank, grocery store, bakery. 

Acquaviva is the protagonist of several cultural tourism events: 

  • the local market (handicraft products, local food and wine), that every Wednesday in July and August invades the ancient streets into a magical and fascinating feel
  • various food and wine festivals
  • opportunity to visit the majestic castle, until you reach the highest tower, from which you can see almost all Marche region, including view of the sea
  • do not miss, in the first week of August, "Sponsalia": historical recall of the ancient medieval marriage among nobles families, which takes place in the castle, with period costumes and foods ( www.paliodelduca.it ). 

There are several restaurants and taverns. 

Concerning the car parking, near the house there is a large open space where you can park for free.
